Organoids - Stem Cells, Structure, and Function

One of the challenges in understanding human disease is the lack of models that accurately recapitulate key architecture and function of 3-dimensional organs in a tissue culture setting. Organoids are proving to be the technological advance that is filling this unmet need. Organoid platforms are transforming science and medicine. Kursad Turksen, editor of a recently published book for the series, Methods in Molecular Biology, called "Organoids - stem cell, structure, function", has compiled representative protocols that show the exciting advances that have been made over the last several years in the organoid field. This is an excellent resource and point of reference for this field.
